Corbonod

Corbonod is a common Frenchwoman, Ain.

She is located on Right Bank of the the Rhone, opposite Seyssel (Haute-Savoie) and with the top of Seyssel (Ain).

She belongs to the Communauté of communes of the Country of Seyssel, which gathers 8 communes of the Haute-Savoie, and two communes of the Ain.

Geography

Located in the BUGEY at the east of the department of AIN (District of BELLEY, canton of SEYSSEL), on Right Bank of the high-Rhone, at the borders of three departments (Ain, Savoy and Haute-Savoie), CORBONOD is a rural of medium mountains to agricultural vocation and wine district, turned towards the basins of the Genevese and Haute-Savoie.

It extends on a surface of more than 3100 hectares

The commune comprises 12 hamlets: north in the South: Orbagnoux, Puthier, Sylan, Etranginaz, Eilloux, Gignez, Corbonod, Mancin, Fountain, Trille, Coal, Rhémoz.

The Dogfish: white wine AOC, wine in name wine of SEYSSEL, but primarily produced on CORBONOD for the department of Ain. The Serrated roller (white wine), Gamais (red wine) and Royal Seyssel: semi-sparkling white.
