Corbion
Corbion (in Walloon Côrbion ) is a section of the Belgian city of Bouillon located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg.
It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.
Corbion is located at 7 kilometers of the downtown area.
Its altitude of 400 meters makes it possible to discover eight point of view along 70 kilometers of marked out walks equipped with benches of rest. Among tourist attractions the vestiges of the “House of the Grass snakes appear”, where the poet Paul Verlaine remained towards 1885, as well as the “Jolly Mill” (private property) which dates from the 16th century.
It is the birthplace of Sebastien de Corbion (born in 1520, known as Sebastien “Gun”, inventor of the firearm which bears its name).
Corbion is also a city of central Italy which, according to Tite-Live ( Roman Histoire, delivers III, 30 ) was destroyed by the Romans into 457 before J. - C.

Cours d' water (suffix one ) with meanders (Latin curuus “curve”), undoubtedly indicates the Semois.
History
Commune of the department of the the Ardennes under the French mode, it was transferred to the province from Luxembourg during its creation. Amputee of Frahan in favor of Rochehaut in 1856, and of Poupehan (set up in commune) on July 18th, 1877.
