Coprolithe

A coprolithe (of the Greek kopros : Excrement), is constituent sediments produced by the action of the digestion of the pluricellular living beings. Stricto sensus, they are mineralized excrements, fossilized. Human coprolithes were thus discovered in many prehistoric sites. They are also Concrétion S constitutive of the Calcaire S Biodétritique S, which results from the fossilization of feces of marine invertebrates called pellets.
