Coproduit

A coproduit is a matter, intentional and inevitable, created during the same manufacturing process and at the same time as the principal product. The principal end product and the coproduit must both answer specifications of characteristics, and each one is ready to be used directly for a particular use.

The coproduits are also characterized by their economic valorization: specific market of the coproduit in question, quotation…

One should not confuse coproduit and Sous-produit.
