Cootamundra
Cootamundra (: 6000 inhabitants) is a city of the Riverina, in the south of the News-Wales-of-South, in Australia to 390 km of Sydney, the capital of the state and with 161 km of Canberra, the federal capital.
The area is known for a variety of mimosa ( Acacia baileyana ) called in English, " Cootamundra wattle" and the city organizes each year a great festival at the time of the flowering of this mimosa.
Cootamundra has an airport (code AITA: CMD).
