Cooled container

Origin

The Conteneurisation appeared in the Années 1960. The Guerre of Korea gave an impulse to the container transport what led to the use with large scales of containerization. With the passing of years, with the great number of ships container ships, containerization was one of the conditions of the growth of the exchanges and a means of fight against the asphyxiation of the large ports. For the transport of the cooled products, the use of the cooled container ships of type PCRF ( reefer ) were necessary on the line of the the Antilles: the products can keep all their freshness without risk for the consumer.

Principle

The principle of the container reefer is based on a device of production of cold fed in running by catches reefers of the ship. The maintenance of the Température is managed by a Modem which transmits all the parameters to the trip computer with PC ship officer . In the event of dysfunction of a container, the data are processed directly by the trip computer by emitting an alarm signal. The officer of the watch can then intervene with the reefer and cure it this failure. With these systems, the chain of cold is maintained until the arrival with the port. As soon as the container east unloads with ground, it is dealt with by the engineering service of the port of delivery to treat these containers under the same conditions as on board.
