Cool Tré

Tré Cool (born Frank Edwin Wright III the December 9th 1972 with Frankfurt, in Germany) is the beater of the group Green Day.

Biography

Frank Edwin Wright was born on December 9th, 1972. Whereas Frank does not have which 14 years, his/her father, old driver of plane, decide to make build a house with Willits, in California, so that his/her children are in safety. It is there that Frank sympathizes with its neighbor (Lawrence Livermore, which gave the nickname " Tré Cool" in Frank after having intended a French to say to him: this guy is very cool) where he discovers the Punk rock'n'roll and the battery.

Tré Cool joined its first punk group called The Lookouts at 12 years, with which it occurs in some clubs Californian.

It is right before the exit of their second album, Kerplunk, that Tré Cool becomes member of Green Day by replacing the old beater Al Sobrante (John Kiffmeyer of its true name), to which it gave courses.

Tré was married twice (the first time with Lisea Lyons in March 1995 and the other time with Claudia in May 2000), divorced twice, it has two children: Cleaned (born the January 12th 1995) and Frankito (born in 2001), one of each marriage. Tré Cool has an excellent technique which enables him to play of the grooves extrèmement fast. It often was rewarded besides by the magazines specialized (it was recognized " beater of the year 2005" by DRUM Magazine).
