Conveying belt
A conveying belt or conveying belt or belt conveyer , is a device of Transport or Manutention allowing the continuous Déplacement of Marchandise S in Vrac or of isolated loads.
It is primarily made up of an endless conveyer belt out of material flexible trained and supported by Poulie S motorized. The band, more or less broad, comprises a lower bit and a higher bit, which supports and involves the goods posed above. It can be provided with veins out of rafters allowing a better drive of the goods.
The course of the conveying belt can be horizontal or ascending or descendant. It can be rectilinear or comprise curves.
The conveying belts are very employed in industry, the mines and careers and agriculture for displacement, generally at short distance, of more or less weighty materials such as coal, Minerai, sand, cereals, etc This technique has very varied employment. One finds it for example in the form of travelator for the displacement of people in the stations and airports, of removable bottoms of certain vehicles car-unloaders, travelators to the cases of the hypermarkets or for the delivery of the luggage in the Aéroport S, etc
Mobile conveying belts, often called “grasshoppers” are used with the loading or unloading as vehicles, in particular of the coaches.
The longest conveying belt of the world is with the the Western Sahara (controlled by the Morocco). It is stretched on 96 km of the mines of Phosphate of Boukraa to the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the south of Laâyoune.
Mécanimes of belt conveyers are used like Composant S in the delivery systems and of automated storage. Combined with equipment of handling of pallet ordered by computer, they allow a more effective distribution of the manufactured goods, detail or the large one. These systems make it possible to treat quickly more important volumes of goods as well in reception as in forwarding, with more reduced volumes of storage, authorizing interesting productivity gains with the companies.
