One of the most known references of the German label Ant-Zen, Converter is a project noise/undue of Scott Sturgis, musician states-unien originating in Seattle, which was tested there with the noise ambient, Dark ambient, techno/industrial, power electronics and other kinds still.

Other projects
Scott Sturgis did not start with Converter and did not stop there:- Its first project was named Painstation. Credit of 1996 to 2001.
- DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation): a vinyl 7" and an album left respectively in 2000 and 2001, using exclusively noises of mouth of Scott Sturgis, adulterated with Ensoniq ASR-10.
- 2 albums under the pseudo " Notime" in 2002, each one drawn with 250 specimens: " Planet" living room; and " Dying Planet" , that it composed only with sound natural (water, wind…) for the first and nonnatural sounds (power pick, muffler…) for the second.
- Xenonics K-30, a project united with Leech (Navicon Tortures Technologies), with the album " Automated" , very noise and crushing: more large-thing of human in an post-apocalyptic environment where the machines reign as Masters.
- " In Haze" has; , an album left in 2005 pennies the simple name Scott Sturgis: space down-tempo, dub influences, saturations much less marked, more organics and, while remaining industrial in the heart.
