Converteam

Converteam is a French Entreprise specialized in the field of the conversion of electrical energy. Its principal product range includes drives powers, the control panels, the electrical motors and the generators. It is an old subsidiary company of Alstom, Alstom Power Conversion , sold in 2006 with Barclays Private Equity.

Alstom Power Conversion was itself resulting from Cegelec, in the past CGEE Alsthom.

It operates in the Oil industry, the Métallurgie, the paper, the navy, and other sectors specialized.
