Conventional memory

The conventional memory corresponds to the addressable first 640 Kio by a processor X86.

MS-DOS before its version 5.0 could manage only this memory capacity. At the origin processor 8086 could reach only 1 Me of addresses, and this limit was raised in the 80286 processor which pemettait an access to 4 Gio, then the 80386 brought a Mode protected which made from there the use much simpler.
