Convention of Philadelphia
The convention of Philadelphia took place of the May 25th to the September 17th 1787, to deal with problems with the the United States following independence with respect to the Great Britain. Whereas convention was to amend the Articles of the Confederation, will of many partisans, whose James Madison and Alexander Hamilton, was to conceive a novel mode of government rather than “to correct” existing it. The States had not seriously re-examined the Articles of the Confederation since the Conférence of Annapolis. The delegates elected George Washington chair convention. The result of convention was the Constitution of the United States of America. Convention is one of the principal events of the Histoire of the United States of America.
