Control of Radio France

Founded in 1946 by Henry Barraud and Maurice David the Maîtrise from Radio France is, with the National orchestra of France, the Philharmonic orchestra of Radio France and the Chœur from Radio France, one of four continuing educations of Radio France.

In addition to a musical formation of very high level intended for some nine year old children and more, the Control of Radio France makes it possible to take part in prestigious musical demonstrations under the direction of largest chiefs.

It was at the origin of the first experiments of the system known as of teaching half-time applied to the artistic lesson.

Chorus children and teenagers, the Control has the role of illustrating and of defending the repertory French choral and of supporting creation, in particular in interpreting works ordered from its intention by Radio France with Compositeur S such as Jorge Antunes, Iannis Xenakis or Patrick Burgan.

The Control occurred in Europe, Asia and North America. It acquired an international recognition.
