Contract of professionalisation in France
The contract of professionalisation is a Work contract, of French Droit, replacing the contract of qualification, adaptation and orientation. It gives access a certification (CQPM, diploma, recognized certification), by combining course of formation and community activity.
Public
Young people from 16 to 25 years, without professional qualification or having a qualification unsuited to the Employment proposed.The adults between 26 and 30 years under certain conditions (handicapped worker, renewal of apprenticeship contract, etc) can profit from this contract.
Adults carrying a creation project or resumption of Undertaken.
Duration of the contract
The action of professionalisation is concluded for one duration from 6 to 12 months, for a CDD or at the beginning of TDCI.The duration of this action can be carried up to 24 months, in particular for the people left the education system without recognized professional qualification or when the trade requires it.
Statute
The holder of the contract, in CDD or TDCI, is an employee like the others (with the same rights and obligations). He profits in addition to one formation during his work hours.
Course of formation to measure
15 to 25% of the total duration of the contract (150h at least) are devoted to actions of evaluations, of accompaniment and training, given by the AFPI (Association of Professional training of Industry). The formation is personalized thanks to the pre-formative evaluation, identifying the level of the trainee and his needs.The course of formation is carried out in alternation with the periods of community activity, in bond with the required qualification.
Organization
The request for enabling of the company is deposited with DDTEFP, as well as the contract signed with the Employeur. Enabling famous is approved if there no were notification written of refusal of the administration within one month after the deposit.The employer chooses within his company a Tuteur, by taking account of his qualification level and of the objective to be reached.
The role of the tutor is to accommodate and guide the employee, in contract of professionalisation, during all the duration of the action. It organizes the activity of this employee in order to allow the acquisition of professional know-how.

Remuneration
The Rémunération is poured by the company expressed as a percentage SMIC, according to the age and of the education level or the conventional minimum wage corresponding to employment if it is more favorable:

- Exemption of the employer contributions of Social security, with height of the SMIC
- Dealt with of the associated costs to the professionalisation (teaching costs, lodging, transport, function tutorale…) by OPCA, according to the applicable fixed prices.
