Continuing professional education

In France, the law of the 5/4/04 reformed continuing professional education (CPF). The objectives of the CPF defined by this law are:

  • To support professional insertion for the workers;

  • To allow their maintenance in the Employment;
  • To support the development of their competences;
  • To facilitate the access to the various levels of the professional qualification;
  • To allow the return to the employment of the people who stopped their community activity to deal of their ascending children or their spouse or in situation of dependence.
