Contessa Entellina rosso

The Contessa Entellina rosso is a red Wine of the area Sicily equipped with a name DOC. since August 2nd, 1993. Only to DOC. the wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in Province of Palermo in the commune of Contessa Entellina.

The red wine of the Contessa Entellina rosso answers a schedule of conditions less demanding than the Contessa Entellina rosso riserva, primarily in relation to a 2 years ageing and a higher alcohol content for the riserva.

Organoleptic characteristics

  • savor : dryness, velvety

The Contessa Entellina rosso is tasted at a temperature from 14 to 16 °C and it keeps 2 - 4 years.
