Content Coral Network Distribution

Content Coral Distribution Network , or simply Coral , is a network Poste at station of distribution of free contents designed to put out of mirror contents of the Web. Coral is conceived to use the Band-width volunteers to reduce the load on the Web sites. To use Coral, it is enough to add .nyud.net: 8080 in the name of host of a URL. For example, http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accueil becomes http://fr.wikipedia.org.''nyud.net:8080''/wiki/Accueil. The latter is called bond coralized .

One of the main aims of Coral is to avoid creating hot spots which could dissuade from the volunteers to make turn the software by fear of peaks of load. It makes a success of that thanks to a Table of chopping distributed, and creates self-managed bunches of nodes which recover information from/to each other to avoid communicating with too distant or overloaded waiters.

This project is in phase of beta-test since March 2004. The Source code is freely available under the public License general GNU.
