Consuelo Suncin Sandoval de Gómez

Consuelo Suncin Sandoval de Gómez born on April 10th, 1901 with Armenia, the El Salvador and dead the May 28th 1979, artist and Bohemian, it was the MUSE and the wife of Antoine of Saint Exupéry.
Biography
His/her father, Colonel of reserve, grower of Coffee to Armenia, was of one of the richest families of the El Salvador. It had a peaceful childhood, and received an excellent education, in the fathers.
Is 22 years old, it is already separated from its first husband, a young Mexican officer met with San Francisco, where it followed studies of art (which it continued with UNAM and the Academy of the Art schools of San Fernando).
With Mexico City it becomes the mistress of Jose Vasconcelos, which is already married with two children, that it joined with Paris. There, it meets and marries Enrique Gomez Carrillo, which presented to him the painter Van Dongen. Her new husband is a Guatemalan writer , press correspondent in Paris, consul of Argentine, large friend of the Salvadorian caricaturist Tonio Salazar, of the Nicaraguan writer Rubén Darío, of Maurice Maeterlinck, Gabriele D' Annunzio and Paul Verlaine. The vaudevillesques contentions between the two males brighten the whole Montparnasse.
Two years after the death of Enrique Gum Carrillo in 1927, in company of a group of writers French, it leaves in Argentine to the invitation its president the Republic, Hipólito Yrigoyen.
Its life with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
In 1927 it is a very rich widow who smokes, led - strong evil -, drinks alcohol - a little too -, leaves, carves, voyage. It is in 1930, in the living rooms of the the Alliance Fran1caise, with Buenos Aires, that Benjamin Crémieux introduces to him the chief of stopover of the Air-mail Compagnie Argentina, Antoine of Saint Exupéry, that it allures at once by its personality of fire. It is impressed by its breadth but finds that he sufficiently did not write.
Of return in France, she marries it religieusement the April 22nd 1931 with the town hall of Nice then to Agay the following day. Its wedding gown, with the very Hispanic style, is out of black lace. It quickly retains her new husband with his work table, within a splendid framework, prepares its preferred dishes to him, distracts it, the charm, listening also in the middle of the night lira its last paragraphs: “ You become responsible for always for what you tamed ”.
In spite of the tumultuous life that it is obliged to carry out with her husband aviator, it ties friendly relations with the group of the surrealist painters: Marcel Duchamp, Oscar Dominguez, Balthus, André Breton, André Derain, which will influence much its own painting.
During the Second world war and with the assent of her husband, it takes refuge with Oppède in the Luberon with a group of students of the Art schools, while Saint-Exupéry leaves for New York. This group, directed by the future great architect Bernard Zehrfuss, organizes a resistance network while continuing to make projects of architecture for the future.
After having left the France, they move into a large peaceful house which it had unearthed not far from New York. Among their exiled friends, one finds: Ingrid Bergman, Jean Gabin, Greta Garbo, Charles Boyer, Marlène Dietrich, Jean Renoir and well of others.
Saint-Exupéry written to the Small Prince , in which Consuelo is the heart book. Its self-portrait is a prefiguration of angelica face of the " Small Prince". It is enough to read between the lines, its print is everywhere: in the volcanos which encumber tiny planet, as with the El Salvador, where it grew; in the brutality pretended of the Fox; in the snake, enigmatic and dangerous; and even in the frail silhouette of the child who says of if beautiful stories.
After the death of Saint Exupéry
Antoine of Saint Exupéry disappears tragically with her plane on July 31st, 1944 close to the French coasts to the the Mediterranean at the time of a mission of the war.
With him, she lived a splendid history of love. After the disappearance of her husband, Consuelo, recluse, continue, each Sunday to write a love letter to him, until its characteristic died in 1979.
Consuelo succumbs to a crisis of Asthme more violent than the others in the most total indifference.
