Constitutional council (Ivory Coast)

The Constitutional council is institutions of the Ivory Coast establishes by the law Nº 94-438 of the August 16th 1994 during the First Republic fixes the composition, the organization, attributions and operation. It takes care of the regularity of the principal elections and referendums. He comes to a conclusion about conformity with the Constitution of the laws and certain payments before their coming into effect and also intervenes in certain circumstances of the parliamentary life and public.
the Constitutional council is not a supreme jurisdiction. It is an autonomous jurisdiction, an institution of the State envisaged with new Title VI of the Constitution. It esrt member of the Association of the Constitutional courts having in Division the Use of French (ACCPUF)
The Constitutional council is located at the 22 Boulevard Cards on the Plate with northern Abidjan.
