Constituent assembly of Vaud
The constituent Assembly of Vaud was elected by the people of the canton of Vaud in Suisse the February 7th 1999. Its goal was to write a news Constitution for this canton. The preceding constitution dated of March 1st 1885.
The Constituent one sat of 1999 with 2002. It adopts the new constitution project the May 17th 2002 in assembly pleinière, with the roll-call, by 135 votes against 16 and 10 abstentions.
Composition
The assembly was made up of 180 components including 66 women and 114 men.
