Constantiniens

The dynasty constantinienne is thus named according to its founder, Constantin Ier, who is not first to have the however reigned. She claimed (perhaps with reason) to descend from the emperor of the 3rd century Claude the Gothic and, succeeding the Tétrarchie, she directed the Roman Empire during first half of the 4th century.

Constantin II, Constance II and Constant shared the empire and reigned jointly. But Constancy, after the death of his/her brothers, recovered their fields.

One can still include in the dynasty Procope, cousin of Julien who asserted moreover a bond with Constance (it had taken under his protection his last wife and its daughter) and which tried a usurpation against Valens
