Constantin II (Roman Emperor)
Constantin II (born the August 7th 314 with Arles, died in 340) is the son of the emperor Constantin I {{er}}, which proclaims it César in 317, he was Roman Emperor of 337 with 340.
Biography
In 332, it directs a victorious military forwarding against the Goths.In 335, his/her father gives responsibilities to his three sons, Constantin II, Constance II and Constant and with his two nephews Dalmatius and Hannibalien.
In 337, with died of the emperor Constantin, his sons massacre his nephews and share the Empire. The September 9th 337 Constantin II is declared Auguste by the Sénat, with his/her brothers Constance II and Constant.
Constantin II had the provinces of Brittany, de Gaulle and of Spain; Constancy II, provinces of Asia, of the East, Bridge and Thrace and Constant, those of Italy, of Africa, of Pannonia, Dacie and Macedonia.
Constantin II and Constant could not get along. Wanting to take Constant Italy, Constantin II was killed, in April 340, with the battle of Aquilée. Its provinces passed to Constant.
