Consistency (mathematics)

A numerical diagram is known as consistent -- it is also said that there is consistency -- if and only if the exact solution of the partial derivative equations discretized tends towards the exact solution of the continuous equations when all the not of discretization ( \ Delta t, \ Delta x, etc) at the same time tend towards 0.
