Conrad Ier of Wurtemberg
Conrad Ier of Wurtemberg (" Konrad von Wirtinisberc, C (U) onradus of Wirdeberch"), lord of Wurtemberg of 1081 with 1092. He is regarded as the founder of the Maison of Wurtemberg.
Conrad was the son of a noble family of Beutelsbach. It bore the name of Konrad von Beutelsbach .
Conrad made build about the year 1083 a castle on Wirtenberg (Wirtemberg), in the district of Rotenberg with Stuttgart. Once construction finished, it settled and took the name of the castle there.
He married Wiliburge von Achalm. They had at least a son:
The Conrad lord is it first known personality of the long line of Wurtemberg. He is ascending lords, counts, dukes and kings of the Wurtemberg, including Charles Marie of Wurtemberg, the current chief of the Maison of Wurtemberg. One is unaware of the year of his birth, like that of his death.
