In Geometry, a conoïde is a regulated Surface of which all the right-hand sides (generating) are parallel to a master line and pass by a line (the axis). When the master line and the axis are perpendicular, the conoïde is known as right.

A curve passing by all the lines of the conoïde is called curved director (that does not include obviously the axis). For a master line, a given axis and a direct curve, there exists one and only one conoïde.

The conoïde circular right is the solid generated by a circle (C), a line (d) perpendicular to the axis (\ Delta) of the circle and lines resting to (C) and (d), themselves perpendicular to (d)

---- In the language running, one says of an object that it is conoïde when it with the form of a cone. Thus in Anatomie the ligaments conoïdes are used to attach the clavicle to the scapula and the teeth conoïdes are the canines.
