Conidae

Of the Conidae was created by Constantine Samuel Rafinesque (1783-1840) in 1815.

The vernacular or common name of this family is Cône .

These Mollusque S is carnivorous and has a poisonous apparatus, which includes/understands a gland connected to a tooth radulaire in the shape of harpoon. The venom of certain S like Known geographus, Known aulicus, Known textile, Known marmoreus , can be fatal with the man: it involves the paralysis, then death.
