The congress

For the congress of 1984, the Tendance more joined the majority. Consequently, the result of the congress does not pose a problem. The majority obtains 91% of the mandates. The remainder, 9%, returning to the " Mino" gathering the LEAS and the self-management ones (ex SARS) of which is the song of the swan besides. But the year 1984 it is especially that of the departure of a generation, the two former presidents of the trade unions founders of the UNEF-ID, Jean-Christophe Cambadélis for UNEF-US and Julien Dray for the FARMHOUSE leaves the student trade unionism. Jean-Christophe Cambadélis is then replaced by his vice-president, Marc Rozenblatt with the head of the UNEF-ID.

Majority Passage de la tendency to PS

In February 1986, it is with the turn of Marc Rozenblatt to leave the UNEF-ID. It is replaced by a close relation Philippe Darriulat. This last arrived just rather early to organize the passage of a good part of the militants of the majority of the Communist party internationalist (NCV) with the Socialist party. This difficult operation was lengthily prepared, in secrecy, by Jean-Christophe Cambadélis and its close relations, in particular its two successors with the head of the UNEF-ID. But so approximately 400 militants follow Jean-Christophe Cambadélis and Philippe Darriulat, of which a good portion of student, all do not accept the change. Some OLD remain in the orbit of the NCV, in particular Nantes, Tours, Metz and Besancon.
