Congress Hall

The Congress Hall (room of the Congress) is a brick building of the 18th century, located on Chestnut Street, with Philadelphia. It was used as meeting room of the first American Congrès of December 6th, 1790 at 1800, date on which the American institutions were transferred to Washington DC. It is with the Congress Hall that was ratified the American Déclaration of the rights ( Bill off Rights ).

Today, the Congress Hall belongs to the historical quarters of Philadelphia and is near the Independence Hall.
