Congolese constitutional referendum of the June 1967

4 with the June 10th 1967, the population of the Democratic republic of Congo voted with the Référendum on the proposal for a constitution of the Second Republic.

The new constitution founds a presidential republic, a unit state, a Parliament monocaméral; the President of the Republic is elected by the Parliament and is confirmed by popular Référendum, for a Mandat 7 years.

The résulat was a yes in the majority (97,80%).
