Conformation

In Chemistry, the conformation of a Molécule is the space arrangement of the Atome S which compose it. The molecules in which the atoms are dependant chemically in the same way, but in which the space arrangement of the atoms is different are called Isomère S conformational (or conformères).

Conformations of a molecule of definite configuration correspond to the various space provisions of its atoms which are different only by one or more rotations around one or of several simple Liaison S. These various nonidentical arrangements of the molecule obtained by rotation around one or several Liaison σ are indicated by the term of conformation.
