Confessor
A confessor is a priest as a Minister for the Sacrement of penitence and reconciliation.
In the past, a confessor is a Christian proclaiming his Foi with the danger of his life: it is a " confessor of the foi". It is distinguished from the Martyr, actually put at died because of its faith. Many confessors appear among the saints recognized by the Église.
