Conference of the vice-chancellors and principal of the universities of Quebec

The Conference of the vice-chancellors and principal of the universities of Quebec ( CREPUQ ) is a private organization which gathers, on a voluntary basis, all the universities Québécois. The objective of the CREPUQ is to coordinate the action of the universities and the establishments of higher education of the province, to represent them in the national authorities and international and to facilitate the evolution of the academic world.

Founded in 1963, the CREPUQ was made up in company with nonlucrative goal in 1967; it is equipped with a permanent secretariat since January 1968. Its current president is Heather Munroe-Blum, principal and vice-chancelière of the Université McGill; its current managing director is Daniel Zizian, specialist in the right and the businesses.

International exchanges

The programme of exchanges of students of CREPUQ (PÉÉ) allows university exchanges the international level. From many students come each year to carry out one or more years of study in Quebec thanks to this program, which proposes various methods according to the affiliated countries. In France, the students are in general exempted payment of the import duties in the Québécois university of reception and can obtain their French diploma by teaching equivalence.
