Confederation sénégalaise of scouting

the Confederation sénégalaise of scouting is the national federation which gathers the organizations scoutes Senegal.

History

It was created in 1930 and was affiliated with the Worldwide organization of the movement scout in 1963.

Organization

Condédération is mixed. It included/understood 26.361 members in 2004.

It gathers two associations, the Association of Scouts and Guides of Senegal and the Éclaireurs of Senegal. Both accommodate boys and girls, of all religions.

Common formations are sometimes organized for the persons in charge.

An antenna of the world Office of scouting is with Dakar.

In 1971, Albert A. Diaye did not receive the Loup of bronze, the distinction of the Worldwide organization of the movement scout decreed for exceptional services rendered in the world of scouting.

Activities

Many activities are related to the international exchanges, with development projects rural, in particular in the field of health (food and vaccination of the children), of the afforestation, the construction and the revalorization of schools.
