Conexión de la maternidad

A joint emission is an emission of postage stamps to the illustration or the identical topic, carried out the same year by at least two voluntary countries and which acted in concert.

The majority are specific between a handle of postal administrations, some are regular between Member States of the same organization like the emission Europa since 1956.

These joint emissions make it possible the postal administrations to be made known foreign collectors. They are the subject of the sale of specific philatelic memories including/understanding the stamps of each transmitting country.

A twinned emission is a joint emission whose illustration and date of emission are identical to the participating countries. A Siamese emission is the case where the stamps of the different postal administrations are emitted himself-holding, on the same sheet. In rare cases, there is single emission when the stamp bears the name of the participating countries and can thus be useful in each one of them.

However, more the dates of emission discordent, more the term is common emission .
