Condrieu

Condrieu is a common French, located in the department of the the Rhone and the area the Rhone-Alps.

The inhabitants are called Condriots .

Victor Adolphe Malta-Brown (in illustrated France , 1882) brings back two Blasonnement S:
“Of mouths, with the gold griffon, faced with crowned a gold money lion. ”
“Of sand to a money rafter, charged with a sand billet. ”

Geography

Condrieu is located on Right Bank of the the Rhone, to approximately 11 km in the south of Vienna and 44  km in the south of Lyon, the foot of the last slopes of the Monnet Mount.

The vocation Viticole of the area was already known time of Pline, even if the composition and the taste of the Vin S were undoubtedly very different from what they are nowadays.
