Unhappy copy of English conditional maintenance , the expression “ conditional maintenance ”, from now on devoted by the use, indicates maintenance subordinate to the state - in English condition - material (an equivalent English expression is condition-based maintenance besides).

The material is the subject of a monitoring by means of techniques as the analysis of the vibrations, the tribology and the thermography, which make it possible to know if there will be a damage and when this one occurs (the English specialists speak about condition monitoring, literally “monitoring of the state”). It any more but does not remain to take measurements which are essential to avoid the damage.
