Condeixa-a-Nova is a municipality (in Portuguese: concelho or município ) of the Portugal, located in the District of Coimbra and the area Centers.

Geography

Condeixa-a-Nova is bordering:

in north, of Coimbra,
in the east, of Miranda C Corvo,
in south-east, of Penela,
in south-west and the west, of Soure,
in the North-West, of Montemor-o-Velho.

History

The concelho of Condeixa-a-Nova was created the April 17th 1838, by dismemberment partial of that of Coimbra.
