Concha Toro is a Chilean, producing company there and exporter of Vin S. the field Concha Toro was founded there in 1883 per gift Melchior of Concha there Toro.
The vine Concha Toro is largest there of the Chile and is currently controlled by the families Guilisasti and Larrain. The company accounts for 30% of the Chilean interior market and 32% of Chilean wine exports. 70% of its sales are done abroad, in nearly 110 countries.
It has vines in principal vallés the producing Chilean ones, like in Argentine.
One of its most famous wines is the Casillero del Diablo .
History
In 1883, gift Melchior of Concha Toro decides there to launch out in the production of wine by planting a vineyard in the valley of Maipo. The vine stocks are of origin of Bordeaux, and the first oenologist was also French: Mr. Labouchère.
The house which it had built in 1875 to live with dimensions of his wife is of pure Chilean type with additions of French architecture. She visits herself today, just as her gardens, the vines themselves and the cellars. She is located has Pirque, in the South of Santiago
Price and recognition
The wines of Concha Toro received many national and international prices there. In 2003, the review Wine Spectator gave a note of 96 out of 100 to the wine Don Nickel silver
