Concerto for violin n° 1 of Prokofiev
The Concerto for Violin in major D, opus 19 of Sergueï Prokofiev is one of the most succeeded works and most personal of the type-setter and one of most important (and difficult) of the repertory. It was composed in 1916 and 1917, but its first only in 1923 knew, with Paris under the direction of Serge Koussevitzky, Marcel Darrieux being the soloist.

- Scherzo - vivacissimo , approximately 4 minutes

The composition is characterized by the frequent taken again rupture then its melody lines and the combination of a very tight rhythmic writing with a breathing naturally singing. In addition to its technical requirements, work, despite everything its turnings, requires of the interpreter not to lose the wire of the higher unit of tone which animates it. It requires violonists a height of sight which is clean only large virtuosos.
