Complex synaptonémal
The complex synaptonémal is a proteinic complex allowing the association of the chromatides homologous between them at the time of the Prophase with the first division of Méiose, this pairing is a Synapsis . The pairing of the homologous chromatides starts on the nuclear envelope and progresses along the chromosomes like a " closing éclair". In electronic microscopy, it appears made up of parallel side elements (or proteinic axes SP3) and of an central element connected to the precedents by transverse filaments. One also notices at certain places on the central element of the nodules of recombination , it is at the places where these nodules are located that the chromatides will be spanned (to create crossing over): the chiasmas are thus due to the presence of nodules of recombination, and there can be several by chromosome of them. the concerned proteins are: SP1 (central) and SP3 (side)
