Company of transport of the agglomeration of Bayonne

The Company of transport of the agglomeration of Bayonne , also known under the initials Stab , is a joint grid system serving the 3 communes of the Communauté of agglomeration of Bayonne-Rebated joint-Biarritz (Cabab) as well as the communes of Arcangues, Boucau, Saint-Pierre-with Irube and Tarnos.

Organization

The network is managed by the Stab, public limit company subsidiary of TRANSDEV. Stab is related to the Cabab by a contract of 10 year old public service delegation (2000-2010).

  • the community of agglomeration defines the offer of transport (traced lines, frequency of passage…), the tariff policy defines, supports the large investments and control the management of the owner.

  • Stab, for its part, advises and informs Cabab, ensures the management of the network and day before its good performance and implements all the elements likely to contribute to the development of the use of public transport: staff training, step quality, marketing policy, general studies.

Intercommunality

The Communauté of agglomeration of Bayonne-Rebated joint-Biarritz is served by Stab and which gathers 03 communes of the Bayonne agglomeration.

The Stab network is composed of 15 lines of bus of day (of line 1 to 14 with their antennas), of 5 lines Sunday (of the line has with E in Winter) and of an electric shuttle which serves the center town of Bayonne.

The summer the network increases with the shuttle of the beaches, Paséo the line for the night and the bus of the festivals for the Fêtes of Bayonne.

To note: There is no line 13, surely by Superstition.
