Company of industrial development and mining of Congo
The SODIMICO , or Company of industrial development and mining of Congo , is a privately held company of mining of the province of the Katanga in Democratic republic of Congo. It held to 85% by the Japanese Mining Company, Japanese company . The SODIMICO exploits nearly 6.000 km ² in the plain of the Haut-Katanga close to the Zambian fontière . In 1980, these reserves were evaluated to 110 million tons of Minerai S, including 30 million exploitable tons with an average content of Cuivre of 3% with Musoshi and 4% with Tshisenda.
