Company linnéenne of Normandy

The Société linnéenne of Normandy is a Learned society belonging to many the Sociétés linnéennes thus named in reference to the Swedish naturalist Carl von Linné (1707-1778).

Founded in 1823 by Arcisse de Caumont with Jean Vincent Felix Lamouroux under the name of Company linnéenne of the Apple-brandy , this one is re-elected later three years Société linnéenne of Normandy .

The Company linnéenne of Normandy published the Mémoires of the Company linnéenne Apple-brandy of 1824 with 1825, the Mémoires of the Company linnéenne of Normandy of 1826, then the Bulletin of the Company linnéenne of Normandy starting from 1856.

The Company linnéenne of Normandy was recognized of public utility by a decree of the April 22nd 1863.
