Company Histrions

The company Histrions , is a French Compagnie of theater and professional. Its actors play before all the joke and of burlesques creations. The troop gives also spectacles public young person.

History

Birth of the troop

The company was born in 2007 in Abbeville. It was born from the meeting of two actors, Fanny Poulain and Yann Palheire. These two artists followed the same training of actor within the Theatrical Academy Pierre Debauche in Agen. They in addition worked during three years in the troop of this last, being exerted with the play, the setting in scene, the song. One could see them in traditional, contemporary, musical spectacles or for the young public. In 2005, they assemble with an external association " It is necessary that a door is opened or fermée" of Musset. This creation with the setting in scene authenticates will be the kickoff of their own company whose artistic research is directed towards forms burlesques, dumb, clownesques, MIME and joke. At the conclusion of the three years with Pierre Discharges, they launch the company " Histrions" to set up their projects.

The Latin word " histrio" return to a person taking an active share to a spectacle, as well the MIME, as the musician or the dancer. In XVIe century, it designates also insane and the buffoons of the kings and large lord. During this same century, let us histrions them are also jokers, actors; will fanfarons and fusspots.

Heirs to a popular theater

They met around joint projects: to play the joke, and of the clownesques forms. The actors of the troop then try to present texts some times traditional with interpretations burlesques, extravagant, punctuated by the merry madness of the world of the circus. Together, they create a language which becomes an invitation with the festival. The preliminary draft of Histrions is rather itinerant. The artists wish above all to defend a popular art, accessible to all: the heritage which was transmitted to them. If they play in theaters of big cities, one also finds them in versatile rooms of villages, in old people's homes, in strange places, with the meeting of the disaccustomed spectator. They have the desire to form and fidéliser a public. " The decoration and the costumes on the back, they plant their trestles in a few moments and leave a divine memory in the heart of small and large the ". By traversing the ways of the country, they want to bring the live performance to the greatest number. Their repertory is composed of creations of short duration and in couple. But they also propose longer comedies, with the more important distributions as well as spectacles for the children.

Work of formation

The actors are installed in a house of associations. They have in project the installation of training course and workshops to theatrical initiation for all the public ones.

2005 - Alfred de Musset

In middle-class Paris of the 19th century, a count and a marchioness devote themselves in entertainments in love, fighting against the trouble. One afternoon inappropriate, the lover comes to court the young woman, thus disturbing his ritual and fashionable practices. Astonishing steps and reactions, they agrees by to us with a setting in dynamic and spontaneous scene which surprises the spectator at every moment. The principles of the joke are there, the addresses are surprising, and the reports/ratios are definitely attractive. The actors evolve/move in various spaces, thus questioning many codes of play. Scenography appears simple, but mask of curious very funny faults definitely. Some elements of decoration mild nutters, a cabin with the distance which loses the spectator between reality and play. Carrot hair

2007 - of Jules Fox, adaptation and put in scene Yann Palheire

Carrot hair is called thus because of its russet-red hair. The boy lives in a middle-class provincial medium. He is the third child of a family which mistakes it. His/her mother hates it, is cold and malicious. As for his father, it is absent and his/her brother and sister, Felix and Ernestine are indifferent. The child is victim many humiliations coming from his family. And if it is itself a cynical and cruel young imp, it offers readily a share of love to those of which it is the prey. Carrot hair, the child torturer, wonders unceasingly about the coldness and the rejection of his/her mother in her connection. One follows the course of an young man who evolves/moves in an oppressive circle. Several short stories present it in various universes: at his place, with the boarding school, at its godfather or in natural spaces which he loves so much. The anecdotes of Carrot Hair reveal us the life of a curious little boy at the XIXe century.

2007 - writing and put in scene Fanny Foal

In refined Japan of the XIXéme century, the Yuko young person devotes himself to the art of the haÏku. He starts a long voyage towards the south to join Soseki, Master of the colors, in order to perfect his Article He will guide it in his search. Yuko carries a particular love for snow. “The haïku is a small Japanese poem, snow is a poem which falls from the clouds in white and light flakes”. On its road, Yuko discovers the image of one woman to the diaphanous beauty taken under the ice… A former funambulist of circus… This poem comes from the mouth of the sky. It is a window open on the World. A calligraphic movement, a breathing, a dance of funambulist of circus, a musical flight, a bond with the naturalness and the human one. It is a model of charm and balance. A tale. A Visual poem, a dynamic, rhythmic, in suspension, spontaneous play. The simplicity of the history is transmitted by the actors by proposal for a poetic, body, humorous play to see burlesque pushing sometimes to the clown in the middle of a precise esthetics: a scenic space impresses whiteness, of naturalness and matter with progressive addition of coloured keys, such painting in construction; a musical environment lending itself to this ludic and tender universe; a physical esthetics evolving to a proposal of make-up specifies… An Alive poem.
