Origin and localization
The Comorian ( shikomori in Comorian) indicates a spoken language in the archipelago of the the Comoros. It gathers dialects used in each of the four islands of the archipelago. This language belongs to the family of the Langues bantoues. Close relations of the Swahili, it also made a very great number of lexical loans to the Arab .The linguistic distribution is the following one, according to the four islands of the archipelago of the Comoros:
- Large Comore ( Ngazidja in Comorian): Shingazidja or Large-Comorian
- Mohéli ( Mwali in Comorian): Shimwali or Mohélien
- Anjouan ( Ndzuani in Comorian): Shindzuani or Anjouanais
- Mayotte ( Maore in Comorian): Shimaore or Mahorais, also influenced by the Malagasy dialect : the Shibushi
