Communist Pole of rebirth in France
The communist Pôle of rebirth in France (P R CF) is a political movement claiming Marxisme-léninisme, founded in January 2004, which is located in the political chessboard on the left, gathering militants and political groups resulting from the French Communist party (PCF), some belonging to him, others more.
Its president-delegate is Leon Landini and its honorary president is Georges Hage. He is organized in departmental associations, sections and cells and is directed by a national political Committee, according to the principles of the democratic Centralisme.
The P R CF publishes the communist monthly magazine Initiative and the theoretical review ÉtincelleS . Militants of the movement also animate the emission Convergence, emission weekly on Radio Galère.
The Jeunes for the communist rebirth in France (JRCF) constitute the youth movement of the P R CF.
History
The P R CF is one of the last forms of organization of Communist militants who refuse the “ change ” that the direction of PCF in the years 1990 engaged. It succeeds and comes to supplement a great number of other organizations known as “ orthodoxe ”, which differ mainly by their positioning towards PCF.
One of the first movements of “orthodoxe” opposition is born in 1991, with the creation of the communist Coordination for revolutionary continuity and the Leninist rebirth of PCF , more commonly called communist Coordination . Born in North, it is about an oppositional group within the PCF, which is opposed particularly to the direction on the assessment of the USSR. However, this one initially remains rather not very influential and very localized.
With the 29 {{E}} congress of PCF, in 1996, other oppositional groups are born, of which the “ Gauche Communist ” of Jean-Jacques Karman, which claims the construction of a revolutionary party like the PCF of 1921, “ Communistes of the call of the 41 (Loir-et-Cher) ” of Therese Hirzsberg or the “ Appel of the 500 ” animated, inter alia, by Rolande Perlican, Henri Martin and Maurice Lassalle. The two first will be in particular on the initiative of the call “ We want to remain communist ” and of the “ General states of the Communists ”, with Coordination, on February 14th, 1999.
It is the congress of Martigues, in 2000, which will mark the rupture of the majority of these groups with PCF. Whereas the Gauche Communist remains within PCF, Rolande Perlican leaves it to found Communistes, as well as the Call of the 41. The majority of communist Coordination, around Maurice Cukierman, leaves PCF to found the communist Coordination for the rebuilding of the revolutionary Communist party .
The year which follows sees being born a beginning from unit between these groups: in May 2000, militants, members or not in PCF, create the unit National collective of the Communists (CNUC), around Georges Hage. They take part in the beginnings of the Bright reds , group created around André Gerin or Henri Martin, which remains within PCF. The CNUC will be at the origin of a meeting, in 2001, entitled “ communist Retrouvailles ” and which gathers several orthodoxe groups of PCF, at the time of its 80e birthday: in addition to the CNUC and the Bright reds, one finds the Left communist, the part of the communist Coordination which chose to remain in PCF, under the name of " Coordination of the Communist militants of PCF for his revolutionary continuity and its Leninist rebirth " (CMC) or the PCF Federation of the Pas-de-Calais directed by Jean-Claude Danglot.
Following these “meeting again” creates for itself a Comité of connection for a communist convergence of national associations (often named communist Convergence), animated in particular by Henri Martin. Accordingly unit the " is founded; National federation of associations for the communist rebirth " (FNARC), at the beginning of 2002: mainly resulting from the CNUC, it also gathers members of the CMC as well as less important groups.
The creation of the Pole for the communist rebirth in France falls under same logic as that of the FNARC: the national Convention for the communist rebirth which founds it, the 17 and January 18th 2004, in Paris, is held besides on the initiative of the latter. The creation of the P R CF does not give place to major rallyings: at Convention same associations as with the “Meeting again” of 2001 are present. It marks on the other hand a change of nature: of a federation of associations, the FNARC is transformed into pole of work of militants of different edges, whose majority is still adherent in PCF.
Relations with PCF
The founding document of the P R CF precise: the communist Pole of Renaissance is not conceived as a party but as a regrouping of militants working on the basis of an analysis Marxist-Leninist brought up to date of the company; the new Pole will also work to cause communist convergences of action on all the current problems . It is however in total rupture with the PCF, which it describes as mutant : he considers, contrary to the groups still presented within the PCF (like the communist Left or the section of PCF 15th), which it is not possible of to rectify interior . This is why it gives itself the objective to create a party continuator of the PCF, which continues its action of before the 22 {{E}} congress (date of the abandonment of the Dictatorship of the proletariat, and thus de facto of the Marxism-Leninism as desired by the P R CF).
However, an important part of the members of the P R CF are also members of PCF. So and from its relationships to other orthodoxe groups “ ”, in particular via communist Convergence , it influences the internal political life of PCF. With the 32 {{E}} congress, in 2003, the basic alternative project commune entitled To rebuild PCF and to reunify the Communists on revolutionary bases is constant at the same time by the federation of the North of PCF and Jean-Claude Danglot, by the communist Left and the FNARC. With the 33 {{E}}, in 2006, the P R CF will not support officially a text, but states to approve the text completely Let us give PCF on the rails of the class struggle , resulting from the section of PCF Paris 15th.
However, the main actors of foreground of PCF a while short to the P R CF moved away today from there, such Jean-Claude Danglot, André Gerin or Jean-Jacques Karman.
In 2007, Georges Hage, lance a call " we Group as of tomorrow " aiming at gathering all the communist sensitivities opposite to the direction reformist of PCF, while inviting to set up a Confederation of communist action .
With the difference of other opponents to the line of the direction of the PCF which them also rejects what they call the change/liquidation of the party and, for example, adhesion with the Parti the European left, the P R CF gave up any militant activity inside PCF. He seeks to constitute around him a gathering of opponents by betting that PCF will continue its social democrat drift. Its statégie is thus based on a complete disparation next of PCF as a Communist party, which paradoxically coincides with the statégie of the direction of PCF and weakens the interior opponents with direction.
At the time of the 10th birthday of the disappearance of Georges Marchais (1997/2007), the P R CF pays homage to the former general secretary of PCF.
Electoral results
The FNARC, predecessor of the P R CF, introduced candidates to the legislative elections of 2002 like to the cantonal elections of 2004.
To the legislative elections of June 2007, the P R CF introduces some candidates:
Jean Paul Chailloux, 1st district of Corrèze, 195 votes (0,41%)
Alexis Lacroix, 2nd district of Corrèze, 162 votes (0,36%)
Jacques Chastagnol, 3rd district of Corrèze, 320 votes, (0,87%)
Jacques Lacaze, 12th district of the Pas-de-Calais, 672 votes (1,56%)
Bernard Parquet, 2nd district of the Valley-of-Marne, 80 votes (0,23%)
Political positioning
Born from a scission of the PCF and having for goal to create new a PCF frankly communist in its eyes, the positioning of the P R CF is defined above all compared to its oppositions with this first.
From a theoretical point of view, he asserts “Marxism-Leninism”: its goal is to initially create the revolutionary rupture with the capitalism which will found the Dictatorship of the proletariat, within the national framework, then in all the countries thanks to proletarian internationalism. Thus, he denounces the rupture occurred with the 22e congress, which saw replacing dictatorship of the proletariat by socialism with the Frenchwoman and self-management. It estimates to want to see reappearing the idea of a socialism for France under the conditions of today. For him, the construction of socialism in France must be a process whose each stage will be the result of the will of the majority of the people.
From an international point of view, it is characterized by a defense of principle of the socialist States being asserted: thus, he refuses any criminalisation of socialist experiment resulting from October 1917 and defends the modes Cuba in and North-Korean in what it calls his fight against the American imperialism. He dissociates himself thus from the PCF which, if he expresses a support " still occasionally; with the people cubain" , calls into question the political institutions resulting from the cuban Revolution.
A point of central disagreement between the P R CF and PCF is the European question: where PCF falls under a critical logic of participation, the P R CF refuses the principle even supranationality in the name of the principle of national sovereignty: it thus wishes the withdrawal of France of the European Union. That was marked initially at the time of the internal vote in PCF on adhesion with the Parti the European left, where the “orthodoxe ones” marked their opposition to any participation in a European party, which would constitute according to them a form of participation. The P R CF also marked its difference with PCF during the countryside on the French Référendum on the treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe while being declared against all European constitution and not against the European constitution .
Lastly, the P R CF expresses a major strategic dissension on alliance with the Social-démocratie: if the current management of PCF poses as bases with the governmental participation sound antiliberalism , the P R CF refuses any participation in a social democrat government and qualifies the two preceding participations of disastrous .
The CPN of the P R CF adopts a text " a new course " in October 2006, and mentioned that it falls under logic to give an image renovated of the Pole while being clearly anti-sectarian and proposes the action for the unit of the Communists opposed to the drift of PCF, a gathering on a " program-candidate " progressists, while obtaining an innovative project for France.
Organization
The sovereign body of the P R CF is the national conference, called every year and composed of deputy elected officials by the departments. At its head a national political committee made up (CPN) of 54 members is, elected by the national conference, who contains in his center an executive commission. It is an operation close to operation to PCF before the XXVIII {{E}} congress (central committee and political office).
The president-delegate of the P R CF is Leon Landini; the president of the CPN is Jean-Pierre Hemmen; the national, directing spokesperson political of Communist Initiative, is Georges Gastaud and Georges Hage, former deputy of North and ex-senior of the National Assembly, is honorary president.
