Common unit of dispensation

The Common Unit of Dispensation , constitutes a common coding of some Médicament S exempted (delivered) only by the health care institutions.

It is a standardization of exchange of hospital products identified for an improvement of the distribution systems, it is named: " code UCD ".

This code UCD characterizes the smallest unit used for the dispensation of the drugs in the establishments of care but it is especially a Norme of exchange at the hospital retained by the Ministère of Health within the framework of the Tarification to the activity (T2A) and of the Rétrocession. It comes from the request of the hospital Pharmacien S and the agreement of authorities the such DHOS and the CNAM. It was developed by the Club Inter Pharmaceutical (CIP).

The decree of August 2nd, 2004 to the Official journal of August 22nd, 2004, identifies the expensive drugs by their code UCD, refers of it for the economic exchanges and the internal management of the establishments of care.

History

It is not that after the 70 qu years' a common coding for each company was created with the rise of data processing and research. This improvement of the distribution systems resulted in proposing a simple and reliable coding usable by the whole of the partners
