Commission of the standards of work

The Commission of the standards of work is responsible with the Quebec (Canada) for the application of the law on the standards of the Travail: law which defines the minimal terms of employment in the company. For this, it lays out inspectors to check if the standards of work are respected. It is even financed it: 0,1% of the wage Bill of each employer.

The Law on the standards of work is coming into effect in Quebec on April 16th, 1980 and involved the appointment of the Committee of the standards of the work, which was invested capacities and mandates that this law confers to him. The Commission is a moral person, who belongs to the Minister for Labor of Quebec.

The Commission exerts the following functions:
