Commission of sustainable development
The Commission of sustainable development ( CCC , Commission one Sustainable Development CSD in English language) was created in 1993 following resolution A/RES/47/191 of the December 22nd 1992 on the institutional Arrangements for the follow-up of the Conference of the United Nations on the environment and the development at the time of the 47e ordinary session of the General meeting.
Within the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, this commission depends on the Department of information (Service of information and the accreditations).
The four topics of the Sustainable development which were studied at the time of the sessins of May 2006 and May 2007 are the following:
- energy with the service of the development;
- industrial development;
- Atmospheric pollution;
- Climate changes.
