Jean-Pierre Marchand , born on March 20th 1924 in Paris is a realizer and scenario writer.

He was assistant of Yves Allégret, Henri-Georges Clouzot and Louis Daquin. He will start like realizer with a series of documentary on the independence of the French colonies in Africa. The Sixties, it enters to the ORF (future ORTF) where it carries out the direct ones before passing to the achievements of films and televised series. He will collaborate with Jean Cosmos.
